Hercule had gotten out of bed and was going to see if the boys were up yet. He planned a picnic and some playtime in the woods today since it wasn’t too chilly. The Juniors liked playing in all the piles of leaves but the man thought they were a little quiet today. A moment after he’d been in the children’s room, Hercule had raced back to where Cell was.

“Cell! Beelza! He-he doesn’t look so good!” Hercule was frantic. He ran back to the other bedroom and stood over Beelza’s bed. Vaughn had his head poking up over the mattress with a concerned look.

“Beelza didn’t wake me up like he does. I went to wake him but he just groaned at me,” Vaughn explained.

The older Junior’s armor was unusually purple and damp. It was also much too soft and uncomfortable to touch.

“Daddy? My head hurts,” the little Junior complained in a raspy voice.

“I don’t know what this is. I’m not even sure if I can give him aspirin!” Hercule said. Hercule was trying really hard not to be scared as he was just so not to upset the juniors.

At first, the towering android was calm, standing in the morning light in front of a window, a book in his hand.. but the sudden panic and yelling from his human? Actually, didn’t change anything. Hercule tended to over exaggerate things.. Setting his book aside, Cell followed the other back into the children’s room and stood over the ailing junior.

His eyes widened at the color changed Beelza. Getting sick was one thing, they did have more human DNA in them than the prior juniors but.. This was a little too jarring. “Mark, please stop yelling.. I’m sure it’s not comfortable for our little one here.” Cell took a knee, laying a cool hand against the juniors burning cheek. Beelza groaned but leaned into his parents hand, “Papa..?”

“Shh, it’s alright. You rest and we’ll find something to make you feel better, hm?”, with his parents reassurance, Beelza curled up into his blankets. “Vaughn, go downstairs and watch some of that TV you like.. I don’t want you catching what your brother has.” And once the smaller junior was gone, Cell stood and tapped at his chin plate, thinking.

“I suppose it might be best to try human remedies for him.. You mentioned aspirin, can human children take it? Or is there one just for children?” The tapping only grew faster as he peered down at the coughing bundle of bedding. “…I’d rather not experiment on our first born but we might not have a choice.”
